Gears of War 3

So they finally had Cliffy B’s appearance on Late Night with Jimmy F with an official date for the launch, which we already knew, April 11, 2011. Or the 8th, maybe possibly.

I love the Gears series. A lot of the Sony fanboys don’t seem to give it very much credit but the Gears games, to me at least, are some of the best shooters of all time. The first one was ground breaking and the second improved on everything in the first just like Mass Effect 2 did to Mass Effect. I hate Unreal Tournament so I’m glad Epic has been working really hard on the new Gears and not another Tournament rehash.

The song in the trailer is Heron Blue, by Sun Kil Moon by the way, it’s pretty catchy.
